Our new tumble drier broke down last week. Only had it since December!
Any elite using a reliable make they can recommend?
Oh dearI hope you've been onto the seller about a refund/replacement?
I've got a 7kg zanussi condenser. Had it about 3 years now and it's fab. I try to only use it in winter months though.....hence the wet washing on the line0 -
Morning all, the weather had gone fowl again, I woke up with 2 black cats clinging to me trying to keep warm
This week I have youngest son home as he us doing a life guarding course locally. The last time he was home he ate his way through the house so I thought I would make banana loaf this morning.
This is something I've made millions of times before but this mornings efforts are going wrong.
Checked after 15 mins and the top was getting quite burnt so I've put foil on the top, fingers crossed now.
He will take a lunch pack each day - sandwiches, fruit, dried fruit for shacking, 2 sorts of cake etc - this is one thing I don't miss, not having to do lunch packs everyday.
Anyway banana loaves have come out fine“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Tesco is the best place to buy wine at the moment. I'm not dissing your finds at all!just saying
I keep an eye on wine and as far as I know best deals are:
Red: Jamies Italian Rosso.....if you can find it (at Ts it's RTC £3.64 but 25% discount is coming off WYB 6)
White: Ts finest Pinot Grigio (in 6s and above) but remember the cap
Fizz: Ts finest prosecco.....buy three for a nearly £9 PP and get 25% off full price of £8.99
there may be others? and I may have missed offers.
so do i only need 3 priosecco to get the 9 and 25% or should i buy 3 other wines0 -

Both my two have done a lifeguarding course this week mhoc. Am a bit hacked off as it was supposed to be Tuesday - Saturday 9-5 each day with the exam on Saturday afternoon. However, the pool was somehow double booked on Saturday, so there is no replacement for the Saturday hours, and exam was rearranged for today (which DS can't do as he is working and already booked the week off for the course) or tomorrow, which my two are going to do with one other.
If they pass then great, I won't say anything. However, if they fail, I will be having words, as I will not be expecting to pay for another exam after they have effectively missed a day of training due to the pool being double booked. Fingers crossed it all goes well and I wont have to start complaining.0 -

Apparently if you add in a couple of dry towels it makes the washing dry faster. I have a really old tumble dryer i bought in an auction for £14.00 about 15 years ago and its still going strong. Bit rusty but I cover it with a throw when not in use0 -

I've got a Beko that's doing good service. 2 years old and (touch wood) no problems so far. It gets used all through winter and for the occasional load in the summer when I'm pressed for time. HTHSPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j

Also this morning I had to do a contact message for shopitize for technical support - I didn't realise before the email box that comes up gives your Id number plus your type of phone
I uploaded my Asda receipt yesterday for milk and jammie dodgers and this is showing as pending. In the meantime I have acquired 13 red notices to do a re snap  - of what I am not sure - I think my ap has gone crackers
I wondered if logging out and logging back in might clear it but probably not“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Yes you need 6 wines in total for the 25% discount. My Ts have quite a few different wines RTC at £3.99 just now. Mostly whites but a couple of reds too and they don't compare to anywhere. Makes them £3 a bottle after discount.
As I said last night. The Jamies Italian Rosso is a good buy because it's £3.64 but still taking 25% off. None left in my store now and as its RTC might be hard to find.0 -
good morning all, hope everyone is well xx this weather is miserablefairclaire wrote: »Morning
All hybrids as I'm in desperate need of good layers! A white star, a white Sussex and a very small and cute speckeldy. I tried to take a pic yesterday but they wouldn't play ball. I've seperated an area off with my stand-by coop for them. Adjacent to the existing birds so they can see them but can't get at them!! Adding new birds is not always very pleasantThe established ones can get quite vicious. I'll give it a week or so before I let them loose.
Are you getting any eggs yet?
Well done with to those with sunshine. It's hissing down here.....and I left washing out
hope the new hens start laying quickly fc, is your white star a bit scatty, we got a few and they are totally scatty. a friend who keeps them said hers are to,
have just washed and boxed 120 eggs to go out tomorrow,0 -
Morning all..
Possible glitch for those people like EMMAP for whom Carex turned out to be a complete disaster. Not free, but might work out at £1.53 for 4 Palmolive handwashes if all goes to plan.
Buy the potential trigger (pic 1) and any three of the other flavours in the 4 for £3 offer that should compare A v T (avoid the Smooth Delight flavour) and hopefully they will cost you 38p each.
Not tested as yet, but can't see any reason why it shouldn't work.0
