Don't forget Gift Aid!
The only problem with linking in the just giving page like this is the minimum donation is £2.50 whereas the GN was £1 a number. If anyone wishes to just donate their £1 will have to open a page on the other money donating site as allows donations of £1. Can then sweep money accross to just giving.
Vouchercrazy I hope the swim goes well. Fund raising is not easy these days if you do not have a large prescence on the Internet.
Must try twitter (are you allowed posts about fund raising on twitter?)

As I said in my PM the only problem with that is I can only open a page for a charity.....not a person raising money for a charity, and once the money is there it can't be swept anywhere. it goes directly to the charity. The charity still benefits but as your neice is already raising money it makes sense to just donate to her page. The minimum donation on just giving is £2 and peole have been happy to pay that. Lots have paid more so it's all good.
There's no pressure on anyone to pay anything. Everyone here knows we'd never expect anyone to pay more than they could afford/want to pay/are comfortable with. We always make way more than we think we will and everyone has had fun taking part. :beer:0 -
Nose piercing? I say go for it TS. Life is short after all
I have a lip piercing myself. It can be a pain sometimes but I like it.
Speaking of having a coldI'm with the other poorlies on the thread, feeling sorry for myself so going to watch a film and get a nice long sleep.

I agree all going to the charity of our choice at the end of the day.
I will post Tashas race number the day before so the elite that want to can follow her progress on the day as runners wear electronic tags which mark them as they cross certain points.
V x
Yes i can confirm this as I have to be out of my bed in Westminster at 4.00a.m. on Marathon Day to be on the Mall for 5.30 breakfast and the 1st to come are the German timekeepers who fit the tags. My sisters company does the catering for the organisers every year0 -
At least you are staying positive
If that was a bottle of wine I bet it would have been "half empty"
Hmmm, my fingers are now gliding over the keyboard even after washing them and using vanish on the carpet.
Said spillage luckily is just under the bed but not managed to get it all up. Will have to have a think on what is best to use to get rid of the oil.
Have poured myself a sherry while I ponder and the bottle was already half empty.0
