Just had a fab phone call - all 3 of my offspring are in London together :j

Eldest son went down last night as it was cheaper for him to go then than travel on Friday, met his sister at Euston and then went home with eldest child and her BF.

This morning youngest son went down - he has only just realised its a straight 3 hour trip on the train from home into London :T - met his brother and sister. They had breakfast at a weatherspoons like place called Rocket on Euston road between the 2 premier Inns - £3.99 plus 99p for unlimited coffee :T

Now they are in a small queue outside the National History museum so they decided to ring me to catch up and I spoke to all three :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

This I think will turn out to be a Very Significant Weekend - it has been years since all three of them were in the same place, never mind the same country - I nearly managed it in January but in the end it was just 2 of them.

Eldest son had news - he has got a 2 month posting abroad from the end of August to the end of October plus some leave tagged on at the end - its a training and exercise base - very exciting.

On the minus side he is also on reserve for another CPU tour so because of this he has to go and do the 8 week PDT again whatever happens in deepest Hampshire - just have to hold onto the thought that its just reserve so fingers toes and everything crossed he wont actually get sent out anywhere - it would be another 6 to 7 month black ops, no leave tour to one of the world ugliest black spots again

but hopefully it wont happen, just have to think positive thoughts that plan A will go ahead.

Did they know it's National Siblings Day? :D

DS2 keeps track of all these weird and wonderful facts and informs me each morning what 'day' it is.

    Good afternoon:wave:

Bit breezy here and a bit hazy. Last day of the Easter Holidays for the monkeys:)
Bobbed into @ this morning got my csnap free biscuits :jand bought the mullers...10 for £4 now on the sel:(
Anyway msm still showed 10 for £3... When I bought them but has now updated to show the other offer of 6 for £3 which is running alongside the 10.... I'm wondering if I wait until tomorrow morning update it will then show the correct 10 for £4 that I paid and compare to morries 10 for £3. Rather than pick up the 10 for £3 which I didn't pay but msm showed...
(I thought I'd read a post saying multis not picked up at 10 am ish update didn't show on apg even though msm shows it correctly...or maybe dreamt it:))
It doesn't really matter either way as I bought them desperately but would rather have the morries price than the @ one;)

Long winded^^^^ but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or had bought the mullers today or seen them on a Womble;)
    Tia

    Separately not desperately!!!

Retlatively expensive chocolate for those with a threshold of 1p, but if you enjoy your Ferrero Rocher:

Reduced to £3.50 in my local, and should compare £4.50 to £3(M's), meaning a cost of £1.70 for a box of 16.

I will sort the Grand National thing out if there are no other volunteers. It will have to be later on this evening though as I have to go shopping this afternoon and do a few other things.

Be a shame not to do it since we raised a nice amount for charities the last couple of years and it's fun :D

EDIT: But no baggsying numbers in advance because it won't be fair if I know people's numbers before I get my trusty assistant to produce the randomised list :p

    Afternoon all.

Third day of sunshine in Fife.

Had thee best lunch out with wonderful friend yesterday. And sent home with a bag of goodies. Some people are just lovely. :A

At work today, all go as we have had three staff leave in the matter of a week. All going to better paid jobs with more hours for them which is good, especially since one of them is my son :T Its been a good reference for the young ones moving on. We had a young guy been on dole for two years that we employed and he has now got an full time job at the dockyard.:T

Anyways got me biscuits for COS. I got an email and was uploading my receipts on the bus :rotfl:

Been a really hard week at Banana towers but everything seems to have settled. Now got my revision to do for mock exam on 23rd.

Still not applied for next year but really should.

Congratulations to all the new babies. I'm sorry I really haven't been keeping up.

Belated birthday wishes and Passover celebrations.

Well done Tweets and SFSB on your continued weight loss.

Congratulations any new jobs, driving test passes etc.

Big hugs for anyone ill or sore or anyone who just needs one.
