Just realised I forgot to share some good news.

DD2 has been accepted on her masters degree this next uni year. :j

So it does mean she will be back home for a whole year. Well except for the contact time which we are hoping can book cheap premier inns for those few blocks of days. Much cheaper than renting for a year and travelling back home occasionally.

And will be nice to have that quality time I missed before she started uni and every holiday while my mum was ill. :A

    That's brilliant news Tinyshoes :T:T:T

To give everyone a laugh, first day that I have lights in the bathroom, and I can't reach to turn them on the men have left the cord tied up. :o

Mr TS is out and I was just going to have an admire of the handy work. :rotfl:

Yep it's a £10 gc. I'm not sure who it was that posted a link a while ago, but I remember it was a list of things people didn't know about Asda, and one of them being a £10 gc for out of date products.

I've only seen it mentioned on that post, never seen it confirmed by A or anyone who works there

Thanks tweets, she was meant to have heard before the end of March but had to get admissions to chase it up so she was a bit nervous.

Just have to hope she gets the scholarship to help with the extra fees. She will get the undergraduate equivalent of fees paid as NHS funding finally kicks in for 5th year of study. :)

A lot of people assume medical degrees are funded from the start of the degree like nursing but it's not the case. I know she can't moan as has been entitled to the student loans last four years.
