No problem - it drives me mad too :wall::wall:

This view that loads of EU migrants come here to claim benefits, get given a council house and tonnes of cash as soon as they step off the ship in Dover cracks me up.

    Very informative.

I can remember watching programmes showing migrants living in parks and looking for work as without work they had no money.

I think we sometimes get confused between immigrants, migrants and illegal immigrants.
Our local councils had to spend all their money housing the illegal immigrants from 1998 onwards. The government agreement was to reimburse them. Not happened yet so our roads ect are in a terrible state as was one of the budgets used for housing.
We now have a truly terrible crisis in Syria but are scared to offer to take our quota of asylum seekers due to the mess caused by our last government.

Must remember New labour played a huge part in the 2004 bill and also the very unpopular European bill of rights (written in part by Cherie Blair QC)

I think just like the USA and Obama, a second period in government is needed to truly get a grip on implementing the new budgeting policies. We must be able to pay and not borrow too much. A couple of years back the USA was days away from bankruptcy. Sub prime market crash was along time ago but effect will last just like the austerity of the 1940's and 50.

Think we will all agree money needs to go into our hospitals not some space programmes. Be nice if we got to vote on more issues not just councilors and Mps

As for buying a Mulberry handbag while having 11 kids:eek:
Either some very frugal budgeting or clever circumnavigation of the system.
Pretty sure these reports will highlight the family to the benefits agencies and they will be having a very uncomfortable audit of their household accounts:eek:

Off my soap box (leg is aching:rotfl:)
