totally agree we have a lot of fresh fish and it never smells fishy, today i had a small bucket of prawns and a bass from our beach courtesy of my boys,:T:T

You cant beat fresh prawns straight from the sea. I get very good prawn catches on the large spring tides at night.

As long as its calm and the water is clear you can fill a builders bucket in under an hour and get some crab and the occasional lobster :)

The Cobra will be fine; the Boddies should be as well, though I'm not much of a beer drinker, so this might help with regards to beer:
"The beer will not be bad in the sense of unsafe to drink, since no harmful pathogens grow once the beer is fully fermented. So you can certainly drink the beer. However, the beer may not taste good! Over time, the beer will oxidize, both from oxygen introduced during packaging, but also through the release of oxygen from compounds previously oxidized in the beer. The oxygen causes the beer to stale, producing tones of sherry, paper, cardboard. Hop aromas are muted, and hop beta acids oxidize to produce an unrefined bitterness. Other forms of staling can lead to a soap taste.Generally, the higher the alcohol content of the beer the less you need to be concerned with the use by date"
    though also
"I drank 3 years old beer without any major change in taste. It was extra strong so I got tipsy too.":rotfl:

Me neither; I've still got a 1.5 litre bottle of Grolsch with a BB date of July 2002:)

    Good morning everyone
I need to catch up but before I do I would like to say thank you to everyone for your help, according to my oh and his mates the beer was ok to drink, there is a few sore heads this morning but no one is ill and the beer did not get wasted, :j:j

    Morning all.

Tired this morning. My ears have been weird the last couple of days, muffled and like they need to pop. After effects of being poorly I think. Last night I was getting strange noises in one, was so loud I thought it was outside to start with. Looked it up and it's something called pulsatile tinnitus, which is when you can hear your heart beating and blood whooshing in your ear. Horrible noise.

Google suggested I try a white noise app or similar. Eventually settled on calming ocean noise on you tube. Seemed to do the trick and eventually I nodded off. My brain must have thought I was camping or something! :D

Hope everyone enjoys their bank holiday Monday. I've got to take dd out to buy her a swimming costume, as her and Ds are doing a lifeguard course starting tomorrow.
