mhoc bad news looks like regular saver has gone down to 2.00% according to nationwides website.

I honestly despair of it :mad::mad:

And I have the savings watch and not received an email from them yet.

    Yep.

When you open their current account (which pays 4% interest) you can also choose a gift that you'll get once per year...off the top of my head (because Lloyds website is down) it's a yearly gourmet society thingamajigabob, 6 vue cinema tickets or a yearly magazine sub.

    :)

Just had a thought - is it the actual current account that pays 4% or is it the separate The Club Lloyds Monthly Saver that pays 4% AER - or both?
ie pay in £1500 every month, £400 into monthly savings - £1100 shuffles back to the base account

I've also had a new product from Alba this morning. I put a bit of the serum on the back of my hand as a neutral test zone and I got a bit of a reddening and lumpiness - never had a reaction to anything before.

But worst than that the smell was revolting - literally making me heave so I washed it off straight away and also my face as I could still smell it.

So I had a bit of a think and decided I ought to ring them, thinking that they would always prefer honest opinions and I wondered if an ingredient in the serum had gone off - the job sheet has a landline number so if you have any issue you can call them in office hours.

Nice lady on the phone knew exactly what the problem was - they had sent products back to the manufacturer for testing and everything was fine, it was just an unperfumed product with various active ingredients and the final version would have perfumes.
But as I had a reaction I am off the trial anyway thankfully - the thought of doing a months trial even using it at bedtime :(

well I often use unperfumed products and I have also smelt the prescription skin preps eldest child uses for her unruly skin and none of them ever smell that bad.

the rash has gone fortunately but I can still smell the serum ...

Morning everyone, I'm stuck internet shopping, as I have a virus an I'm house/ bed bound :(

Any how hopefully got 12 bottles of originally £9.99 wine being delivered tonight for £2.28 if my math works out.

    9.99 now 4.99 x 12 - 14.97 (25%) - 12.00 (new acc) - 6.56 (TCB) + 1.00 (delivery charge) = £2.28 a bottle

Plus freddo to take you over £60 :)

Just seen a £15 new acc link on MSM so wine would have been £2.03 !!!
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    Weight loss 3 stone :D

Still not back up to full health since last week. Dr gave me Stemetil for the ear problem but omitted to tell me they are sedatives and ive been taking 3 a day so a bit spaced out. But rang yesterday and they have given me Cinnarazine instead. So hoping 4 days off over weekend will help me to get back on my feet. Its actually making me quite depressed.
So OH says he will treat me to an Asda shopping trip this afternoon when I finish.
Just to clarify Garnier silky smooth conditioner not on MSM and to be bought in 2 or with a Garnier shampoo ( but not silky smooth) compares to ??
    Sanex compares to Tesco.
    Rice ??
    Hair oils??

Thanks my head is all over the place with these drugs. Need to get back in the game. Also waiting for wine info?

DD got her wedding invites yesterday and they are fabulous. She ordered the design from ETSY and her fiance's friend is paying for them as his dad owns the local printers. Saw wedding planner yesterday ( doing it for free as she wants photos and testimonial - new business ). Sample wedding cake coming this weekend so all going along well.
Once she has sent the invites I will post a pic for you all to see.
