Have a C&C tomorrow that I used profit from Feida and Udi to get a wee bit of foobank stuff. I know it may start an argument, but I am using profits on items and fillers to get stuff for foodbanks, Not wanting thanks as that is disgusting, I would just hope others will do the same and do some good. Fillers will now be foodbank donations and not silly stuff.
Ignore my amounts, just see prices that you can donate to, just make sure you check comparisons on msm

Or I don't need to - I just rely on my memory instead!:rotfl: With the caveat that could be out-of-date if anything has changed in the last two days.
SP 'fresh' Spaghetti vs T or M. Pasta Shapes vs M, Tinned Potatoes vs M, Carrot vs T, Garden Peas are 21p & vs T, Marrowfat Peas at 19p buy in T or M (vs A!), or Avs W:rotfl:, Baked Beans vs T, Meatballs vs no-one anymore as M now no longer stocks the one of its Meatballs it had and never stocked the other, therefore N/A [checked msm, Meatballs in Tom Sc apparently vs T at 40p not 10% chpr than, and in Gravy doesn't matter, vs anywhere as N/A everywhere else]. Beef/Veg Curry vs N/A / Chicken/Veg Curry vs T, Chilli Con Carne vs T or M, Minced Beef Onion vs T (having to check at this stage, as individual prices going way too dear for me:rotfl:, my fillers usually 30p or below:rotfl::rotfl:), tinned spag. Tvs A, or Avs W with price increase of 3p:eek:, Spag Bol. vs T, Ravioli/Mac Cheese vs T or M, Tomatoes buy in T vs A or M vs A or Avs W, Bol. Sauce vs M, Soups vs M (Chicken may return N/A), SP Mandarin :eek::eek:way too dear compared to its 18p of 3 or 4 years ago - vs T at best now, Rice Pud vs T, Tinned Custard vs T, Strawberry Jam vs T or M, Mixed Fruit Jam vs T, Lemon Curd vs T, Tilda Rice the seven varieties only that M stocks vs M, UHT Milk :eek:A and T price increase, now only vs M. Pineapple vs T, Peach vs [EDIT... T price incr:eek:, now vs M but will probably be N/A so vs W would the same. Or Tvs A:rotfl:], Long Grain Rice vs M only, Instant Mash vs T only, Corn Flakes vs S:rotfl:, SP Teabags vs T (shows 27p oos but appears to keep continuing to compare), SP Coffee - if it's now 40p in A, I'd be buying in T or M:rotfl:. Or otherwise Avs W. However, if it's 47p on msm, then should be C&C:rotfl: vs M at 47p. However, I suspect it's just buy Avs M. Biscuits - I'll look into later as some could be N/A. (This is already in my 'to dos' as regards replying to someone else on this earlier - I've looked into the biscuits that are stocked in M more expensively as they are not on msm; also have a womble from earlier where two returned N/A vs M, need to get round to looking into the details of this.) Fruit Shortcake is vs M at 34p (not 10% cheaper).
Basically, if you want not to lose much, and can't be bothered to get everything onto the right shop, you're best just sticking anything onto vs T or M as likely to be same prices (but one or two exceptions - particularly vs T), vs W is safe for everything but no 10% on anything; and avoid vs Sains. at all costs on almost everything. Only the Corn Flakes go vs S (and compare vs 31p:eek: T or M, not 10% cheaper but works out worse than vs S) - only a few are N/A for Sains, most are much more expensive, would need to check msm to see which could be N/A vs S (and, under my scenario, you couldn't be bothered to do that so, in that situation, just avoid vs S except for the Corn Flakes). UHT Milk def. vs M as prices increased everywhere else (sorry Northern Ireland).0 -
Evening elite.. Not had chance to read back as been away a few days.. However I have found a corker of a deal on wine!!!! Well I think so anyway. Works out aprox £2.60 a bottle. I am going to post the details tomorow as my local only has a few bottles left and don't want anyone to get there before I do in the morning for them. U pay £26.95 and then get a capped pp back of £10. So first shop won't be as cheap. Il post tomorow after I've shopped.PS.. The wine is lovely too !!!
I may be miles out but I work it out to be £2.83 each0 -

The frozen M Pork Sausagemeat, that was spotted on RTC £1 last week, that appeared to be full price on Monday is now on RTC £1 again yesterday:mad:. So, it appears that my store simply had the RTC sign removed or fallen down on Monday and it's probably been RTC £1 throughout!:rotfl: I also should mention the Goodfella's Deep Pan Baked pizzas (which amounts to three separate versions) at £1 in M.
And one I had for checking the "More" points M vs elsewhere turns to nothing:( - sadly Salad Potatoes 1.5Kg £1.29 and 20p of "More" is no good as A is £1.17:eek:. M were 69p in the past, and surely weren't they 67p in A at one point if I recall correctly? Msm suggests 'low' of 98p but I have hazy recollection of 67p. Maybe I'm wrong. False memory:rotfl:. I'm "sure" though that we had 98p vs 69p M and then they went to 67p A but price then went back up in M so I was then saying avoid as no longer worked vs M. If I recall correctly:rotfl: - or was it some other item? You can check past threads for comps. to try to find out! It looks like they have gone even way higher in A - as much as £1.38:eek::eek: - in the meantime in order to go "r'back" to £1.17. My recollection is the previous price prior to the hike was £1.15:eek: and, before then, 98p and, possibly, 67p. (The price graph on msm seems to be rubbish.) R'back now costing at least 19p more compared to earlier in the year and 55p more than Avs Morries of a few months ago. And, anyway, with Baby Potatoes (1Kg) at 39p in A, why would you? Come on, you don't need to stick rigidly to Salad Pots as your favourite - move around, this money-saving rests on doing that!0 -
Evening Elite :jGood afternoon wacky :Awhat a pleasant suprise on this the 1st day of the month.Am sat here waiting for the builder to arrive to see about building me a replacement arbour...hope he turnsup;)
Aww, hope the replacement arbour brings you joy Nannylala, it will not have been made by your late hubbie but you will still remember the old one when you look at itilovegreatdanes wrote: »Can I just explain to all on here about a post where I mentioned "retards home". I meant no offence by this and was, infact , referring to a photo post awhile back where an american granddaughter called her granddads retirement home, a retards home, and sed that wen she was older she wanted to go to the retards home, cos they cud come and go as they pleased, etc.it was very funny, someppl probably remembered it.sorry cant repost as it would explain fully
sorry to cause anyone offence , it was totally unintentional.
I am always happy to explain stuff like this and would rather answer on this thread than by pm, so everyone knows.i dont want to come on here to upset anyone, although I realise that not all posters can read every post, so some may have missed the post I mean, so may have thought I was being insensitive, which was not the case.x
I knew what you meant in using that term ILGDSavvybuyer wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl:

Except that I don't think I can add you to a "list" that wasn't a list before! A "list" has to consist of two or more discrete items. With only one entry, it therefore wasn't a list, so you could not be "added" to something that did not exist as such. However, with two entries now on it, it now is a list:rotfl:. Anymore to add to what now is a list?:rotfl:
Well it is a real list now Savvy as you can add me to it :rotfl: though not needing the item I didn;t go any further with it

Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I'm quoting this and then getting rid, as prices have gone down (but not nearly enough to consider even buying them straight) on A's price.Savvybuyer wrote: »[...]

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color Conditioner (250ml)£4.99/Any 2 for £5.00 £1.50 I have one M store with £1.50 on Omega Repair Conditioner; another M has it as RTC £2.50 (I suspect they haven't altered their SEL down). The store with £2.50 also has the Diamond Color I]sic[/I showing RTC £2.50 and I suspect that's also £1.50 but other store, with £1.50 on the Omega Conditioner, does not show any price for Diamond Color even though its stock is in the very near location. It matters a great deal, because Diamond Color conditioner is now £2 in A, so would lose out if it picked up £2.50 but not if it picked up £1.50. In fact they're all now £2 in A, shall I just remove them? Would have been much better if £2.00 each but then caught 2 for £5 still on (:(that's now gone from msm) and if they ever had compared vs M at £1.50 each.
