Thanks for taking time to look :A at least a few remember so they know what I meant

    Found it:-

(this was actually reported by a teacher)

After Christmas, a teacher asked her young pupils how they spent their holiday away from school.

    One child wrote the following:

We always used to spend the holidays with Grandma and Grandpa.

They used to live in a big brick house but Grandpa got !!!!!! and they moved to Batemans Bay where everyone lives in nice little houses, and so they don't have to mow the grass anymore!

They ride around on their bicycles and scooters and wear name tags because they don't know who they are anymore.

They go to a building called a wreck center, but they must have got it fixed because it is all okay now. They do exercises there, but they don't do them very well.

There is a swimming pool too, but they all jump up and down in it with hats on.

Attheir gate, there is a doll house with a little old man sitting in it. He watches all day so nobody can escape.Sometimesthey sneak out, and go cruising in their golf carts!

Nobody there cooks, they just eat out. And, they eat the same thing every night - early birds.

Some of the people can't get out past the man in the doll house. The ones who do get out, bring food back to the wrecked center for pot luck.

My Grandma says that Grandpa worked all his life to earn his retardment and says I should work hard so I can be !!!!!! someday too.

WhenI earn my retardment, I want to be the man in the doll house. Then I will let people out, so they can visit their grandchildren.

    PRICELESS!

Remember to send this to all your "!!!!!! grandparent" friends and give them a laugh too!

:j I'm dreading any of mine going broody :o

We took 2 of MG's grandchildren round tonight to get the girls sorted in the coop- I took the kids in the run with me to give them some treats and they were eating out of the 4 year olds hand but the 11 year old got a bit squiffy about hand feeding them.

Then we watched them all take themselves off to bed :)

the silkies at home are terrible for going broody but we do get them to hatch for us but at the land the hens have 7 acres to roam so if they go missing its impossible to find them 2 turned up with chicks last year after we thought the fox had got them :), its nice that the children get to enjoy them bet its cute watching them with the hens :)

    Hello all,

I've read the first part of this thread which explains how things work and I've just entered my first receipt into the APG, which was exciting even although my shop was cheaper in A compared to the other places.

Anyway I've been trying to understand something, what is it about certain items that people have been buying for example, I've read a lot on here about rice, and shampoo but I can't work out what? If it's cheaper say at T, then why not buy it there at a cheaper price than if it was more expensive at A. I know the APG gives an extra 10% of the price difference but say if your shop works out at £1 more in A than the others, then that is only 10p extra so it can't be that I figure.

Sorry if I'm missing an obvious point but if someone could fill me in that would be great.

    Thanks.

    Hi and welcome
Sometimes we get paid to take away things, so you have the goods and apg, then you can use that to buy glitchy things again, so its a circle and you get a nice stash and cheap goodies hth
