There's a coupon on mymail for £1.50 off Simplee Aloe 1LTR [Grape Fruit Juice]. I printed the coupon and it's doesn't actually say 1LTR anywhere on it! Sada apparently sell a 330ml carton for (you guessed it) £1.50. According to MyS, nowhere else sells this size, so I'm hoping it will be a good filler!

Awww, missed coffee break :( Will have to make do with a tassimo latte :D

I've been trying out bread machine recipes as not used my machine for a while. I got a couple off tinterweb which were rubbish - they had eggs and/or butter in them and failed to rise. I found my old notepad with recipes in last night and there is the recipe that I used to use regularly - just water, flour, yeast, oil, sugar and salt. I put some in this morning and bread is now rising away nicely in the machine :T

Out bl**dy car is playing up again, we bought an 04 plate Renault Scenic end of last year and since then have the coil packs replaced, clutch, catalytic converter and spark plugs done and now the coil packs seem to have gone again :( Garage thinks that water may be getting under the bonnet and rusting the coils - common fault on scenics apparently :( I'm under orders to find us a small German car so we can get rid of this once its fixed. I don't know one car from another so off to see my friend google

we also had big troubles with a scenic and ended up with a new dash, after coil packs and a ecu valve or something like that, then it started again were told it was electrics and sensors out, it became dangerous to drive with 4 kids, so we got the management light off again drove really slowly over to the nearest garage and part exchanged it!! won't touch one of them ever again!!

Well you must get back for afternoon tea then- after visiting your friend, like you I know nothing about cars, we've had a Picasso -the car not a painting -:p for the past 11 years it really has been a good car, no massive bills and it has never lets us down, it truly is a work horse!!

I use to make my own bread from scratch, but a loaf never turned out right yet rolls were lovely, I have a bread maker and again use my own ingredients and it is quick and easy only disaster was when it didn't rise due to out of date yeast, so that is probably only thing I do throw away when its about 3-4 months out of date:)

Bet yours is a big sloppy bundle of love, whos only happy wen its eating or snoring.....just my obese one then:rotfl:

Tee Hee! Yes! Unfortunately she does not have any understanding of her own size. She thinks she is tiny. She wants to be chief hen and tries to join in eating their food and getting into the hen house. She also likes to snuggle up with OH and me on the sofa in the evenings. 'You two. Me too!' Why do we love them?!!!!?

Poor lad Can you not give them a ring and find out exactly why he didn't get in and if it's worth appealing?

Thanks Strewth I will appeal. Need impartial advice. Maybe Mummy House Elf has a rosy view of DS2's talent!

    I use this aswell.

I usually use white vinegar to descale my kettle to start with, as then I dont have to worry about the chemical residue, or forgetting and poisoning dh and ds, very tempting lately:eek:....then wen its clear, I have one of those wirewool thinghys like Hillbern, I thijk it was.

Probably been answered by now but I use smart price vinegar... Empty kettle of water. Pour in about a cupful of vinegar and boil. Leave for an hr and rinse well. Works for me:) The kitchen does smell of vinegar but it won't poison or harm anyone;)

Thank you lovely people!! I knew you would come through for me! :T:beer::T
