    Morning All,

Feel so sorry for DS2. He has been offered a place at 14 - 19 academy, but his second choice. He is disappointed and I can't do anything to help. We can appeal, but would I be setting him up to fail if he didn't meet the selection criteria in the first place? .....Sad.

Seems the way of the House Elf household at the moment. Always the bridesmaid never the bride!!!!!

    Good Morning Snap :hello:

Is this true or an April Fool  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well I don't know about that but I do know that my post about the Weetabix On the Go Go "trigger" was an April Fool. On the "Go Go":rotfl::rotfl:. So there remains to be a trigger found in that offer, if any. I liked the 19 thanks for the OP though and, if anyone has wasted their time looking for the alleged On the Go Go Golden Syrup & Sultana (50g:rotfl:) then that's your fault, as you're the fool.

I suspect you'll all be watching out for any piece of info. that I might slip into one of my posts next April 1st. Right, busy day so see you later!:)

Seems I had at least one of you fooled:rotfl::

Next best in the 5 for £4 would be (according to msm)

Alpen Porridge Pots Raspberry, Apple & Raisin (60g)
Alpen Porridge Pots Fruit & Nut (60g)

£1.18 vs 75p, that is if it picks up T's 2 for £1.50 so 4 alpen + trigger for net £1.98 (v. expensive :rotfl:)

    Good night all :hello:

Are we thinking that rice is a go today please? I'm hoping to go to sada after work & get some mushroom flavour if so.

    Many thanks in advance.

Btw, can I ask you knowledgeable people......what do you use to descale a kettle? How do you do it? In the past I've just bought a new kettle because I didn't want to think about tackling descaling...the height of laziness I know. Is there an easy way that even a simpleton like me would manage not to turn into a biohazard disaster? Solutions( just to this question :D) appreciated :T Cheers

Probably been answered by now but I use smart price vinegar... Empty kettle of water. Pour in about a cupful of vinegar and boil. Leave for an hr and rinse well. Works for me:) The kitchen does smell of vinegar but it won't poison or harm anyone;)

Poor lad :( Can you not give them a ring and find out exactly why he didn't get in and if it's worth appealing?
