Anyone having something nice for dinner tonight? (tea for TM, obv)

We've got roast lamb, roast potatoes, savoy cabbage and mashed swede and carrot. Meant to have it yesterday but forgot to take lamb out of the freezer on Saturday before I went away :o

    Pork chops.:D

I've been swimming and burnt off approximately 400 calories. Come in and ate about 800 calories:rotfl:

Rant alert - why are Halifax insistng that I go to branch which is at least a two hour round trip to renew when last year they sent out forms to renew the account? Why do they want details sending for a normal kids account to pay in the regular saver balance and interest when the account matures ... when these accounts have been running and renewed at least Five times and each time they have paid the balance to the exact same account (that was indicated on the application form!). Why are they taking tax off the account interest despite the correct form being completed to receive the interest without tax as these are kids accounts, yet they have no record of this AGAIN ...

I feel for you trying to take the world on, or at least you feel as if you do! trying to get things in perspective is hard enough at the best of times. Yes no doubt there are people with problems worse than yours but that doesn't matter everyone's problem is a problem for them however big or small it may be and we all deal with these differently, there is no right or wrong way. Trying to take a step back and leaving 1/2 the problem behind helps. But that is easier said than done. I hope you can get some 'you' time - if ds then sides with dh fine, leave them to it, go and take in the fresh air, read a book, play candy crush or unwind with your virtual friends the elite. Sorry to ramble - hope you start feeling brighter in yourself soon x

I was fine with your advice until you mentioned Candy Crush in the same sentence as unwind. It has to be the most frustrating game on this planet and is better for winding you up than unwinding!

Don't be silly - better to rant here before asking as previous calls have always resulted in them saying you have to go in branch to resolve it - and that would wind me up even more .
