All entries must be received by 11:00am on Thursday, April 2, 2015. 6. The Promoter will contact the winner by telephone or email by 5pm on Monday, April 6, 2015. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner by this time or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7. The prize as described is available on the date of publication.
8. One winning entrant will win a pair of VIP tickets to the BNY Mellon Boat Races on Saturday 11th April 2015.
The prize package includes the following:
• An exclusive place for the winner and one guest on a boat which follows the squad on the River Thames along the course of the BNY Mellon Boat Races;
• Champagne Bollinger reception and afternoon tea served before the races;
• Champagne Bollinger reception, followed by food served after the races at Mortlake;
• A place for the winner and their guest in an exclusive viewing area to watch the presentation of the Newton Women’s Boat Race or the BNY Mellon Boat Race trophies;
• A gift bag containing items of official BNY Mellon Boat Races merchandise, including a pair of Hunter Wellington boots and Hackett outerwear
• Return standard class rail travel to and from London within mainland UK or transport by taxi/private hire car to and from the winner’s home address to Putney and from Mortlake, where the winner’s home is within the M25.;
• Accommodation at a hotel in London on the night of Saturday 11 April 2015 and taxi/private hire car.
• Non-alcoholic drinks are available at hospitality venues. Where reasonably practicable, subject to event and venue constraints, BNYM and Newton will seek to accommodate individual requirements (e.g. allergies) which are notified by the winner
9. The prize does not include food and drink, personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned in Clause 8, above. All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
10. The winner and their guest may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Promoter and BNYM, Newton and affiliates (including those outside the EEA). Such publicity may include the publication of the names and addresses of the winner and guest, their photographs, audio and/or visual recordings of them and any media submitted by them in relation to the event in any publicity or in marketing BNYM, Newton and their affiliates, and promoting the Boat Race and their sponsors. The winner and guest must co-operate fully for publicity purposes if so required.
11. The events and venues may be covered by live TV broadcasts and other media. The winner and guest must comply with the directions of event staff and safety instructions. The winner and guest may be required to provide ID and personal information for access to venues and as proof of age and residence.
12. The winner’s data will be passed to BNYM and Newton for the purposes of administration of delivery of the prize. All entrants’ data will be used by the Promoter and/or BNYM and Newton in accordance with the permissions given or withheld at the time of entry to this prize draw, including your preferences in relation to receiving further information about our products and services. If you indicate that you would like to receive further information about our products and services, BNYM and Newton may share your personal data with affiliated companies within the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation group that offer products and services which may be of interest to you.
