IE11 passwords

is there a folder or registry setting you can copy to a pendrive and take to a similarly equipped IE11 machine , copy back or merge back.


this is to save decrypting or resetting a good few


the machine they are on , is a win 8.1 , the new machine is a win 10 development one

Use another browser , I know old habits , use Keepass or such like , or do what 75% of the world do use the same password for everything

thank you (fightsback), I followed your link and tried copying over the \\\\vault folder , it did not work , I then tried using the inbuilt windows credentials to copy and export , then import , alas still no go


regarding passwords , many websites , if you reset due to loosing/forgetting will not let you use your original password again.


some ask for a minimum of 8 , some ask for upper case and lowercase , some want a mix of upper , lower and numbers .

can Lass Pass extract passwords (and user names )from one machine and allow you to configure the new machine to use them without any prompting ?


also is this programme free to use as a full non trail (bits missing) unit with no internet/cloud or other methods of storage , just a simple pendrive?
