I decided to move my gas and electric supply from Scottish Power to Co-operative Energy mainly because I could save money and because they offered a better customer service. Well, I thought Scottish Power had a bad customer service but Co-op Energy are worse!!
At least I could book a call back with Scottish Power but with Co-op Energy I can't contact them on the phone (it rings and rings with no response), I can't log into my account online because "we are having problems with our computer systems at present", that's been the message for over a week, I've e-mailed them but received no response. I don't know where to go from here. By the way the reason I want to contact them is that they are taking the wrong amount of Direct Debit from my account - so that covers just about everything that could go wrong.0 -

Yet its the big 6 who take the flack for poor customer service. Justified? I'll let you decide.0 -
Similar story here - started the switch in early January, but still not complete. Co-op seem to think they are supplying both electric & gas, but Ovo are telling me that they haven't yet got final gas readings.
Just tried logging into Co-op account only to find it isn't working. Then tried calling Co-op CS and nearly fell off my chair when I got though to someone. However, normal lack of service was swiftly resumed as all the person could tell me was that their internal systems have crashed and asked that I call back after 4pm.
A total farce!!0
