Ethical Parking Management

Hi ,

I received a "final reminder before debt recovery" letter dated 23 March from these people and when I spoke to my son , who is at Uni, totally forgot to tell me about this.

The letter says pay £60 within 28 days or else they will send the debt to their debt recovery specialists with further costs to add etc.

Please help as not sure if to pay as I believe there are a lot of these companies trying to get money out of people.

Thanks

P

"ethical" and "parking" are two words that make strange bedfellows with the word "parking" in a PPC context.

Threatened by a debt collector is not a threat I would worry about. If they were really serious, they would apply to Northampton court.

Thanks Guys Dad, at least your comment about "ethical" and "parking" comment has put a smile on my face.

Shall leave it for now and see what other threatening letters they send. I wouldn't mind but the paper they use is so flimsy as well, very unprofessional!! Looks like one person acting as traffic warden, law enforcer and debt collector!!

    Thanks once again.

You've hit the nail on the head. The so-called debt collectors are often arms of the same company, located in a seedy office or portakabin, as the PPC themselves. Many of them are not particularly professional setups. None of them operates in anything like an ethical manner.

They should be banned completely. I am sure they will get some unsuspecting person to panic and pay up. Ruthless!!!

    Thanks guys.
