You may want to check that with another reader.

Dash cluster codes are usually not worth bothering with. On the link above it shows a list of 20 codes. 20 out of several thousand.

If its a fuelling issue you maybe dumping unburnt fuel into the CAT so the first thing the garage will want to do is fit a new one.

You could be pushing the bill up if you keep driving it.

    Wow, that sounds quite bad...
However shouldn't it feel quite juddery if it would not be burning the fuel properly?
I cannot notice anything different with the car, just perhaps not the same power as usual (like 10% or so missing) but everything else is normal...
Either way, it needs to be sorted of course, as soon as I can :)

OK, managed to book it for another check on Thursday - I will post the results here :)
Thanks everyone - fingers crossed it's not the CAT, but we'll see :)

Right, so here's an update on this one:
Car engine light went off a few days ago and stayed like that until today, when it was booked for diagnostics.
They were able to check the fault anyway, as I understood it would be accessible even if the engine light is off.
The code was apparently P2008 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit malfunction.
But we didn't do anything to the car, the guy said it may be that the light won't come on again as they haven't seen anything wrong now (the code is not coming up anymore) - and as I said, the car seems to be working fine... So it's again a matter of waiting to see if it comes on again. He said that I should just drive the car normally.
They are trustworthy, as far as I think - I have many friends that have used and recommended them.
I do hope the fault won't come up again, though I kind of wanted to fix something there, so that I would have at least known that a fault was remedied :)

I've managed to sort this one out so I'll post the outcome here, just in case it may help anyone.
It turned out to be one of the intake manifold runner control solenoids that was bad. They replaced both and now the car runs well again. It wasn't too costly either. Happy it's now fixed!

Thanks for your help and advice, guys!

Yes, i think it's the component that controls them... or something like that, the guy explained but I am not very good with engines :)
