  • You need to order in multiples of 2. For each 2 you order you will get 100 points. And if you don't want to end up with huge talcs, tick the "do not substitute" box !
  • I ordered chessington vouchers a few months ago and I haven't used them. Can I return them to Tesco and have the points re-credited? I am loathe to ring them because I have two clubcards and my husband has two and unfortunately I cannot remember which account I ordered them from - I don't think there's any way of checking? Many thanks !

if you go into "your orders" FOR EACH ACCOUNT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WHICH YOU ORDERED FROM THEN CAN RING UP AND ASK IF THEY WILL REFUND TO YOUR ACCOUNT. - SORRY THE CAPITALS TOOK OVER!

Is it worth to spend Tesco Clubcard Vouchers on magazine subscriptions?

I would have a look first to see if you can get the mag at 3 for £1 offer or something like that - there are loads of them about these days

That is because Tesco have now converted your points to vouchers for the last quarter, those that you had earned up to 21/10. So your new balance shows the points you have earned since that date and carried over to this quarter.

I understand that but wondered why the totals are different, would have thought they would be the same.

by the way I have just been on the deals part.
do you know you can now buy a car from motorpoint.
A car I mean I will be totally broke now trying to do that.
I am already up to my eyes in johnsons baby powder and moisturising cream.

    Wah-hey-hey
    and
    Yip-peee-dooo

This is FANTASTIC news... ever since MFI pulled out of the clubcard scheme, I've always been at a bit of a loss as to what to spend all the vouchers on.

There's a motorpoint just 15 minutes from where I live and so now I've got something worthwhile to set my sights on!!!

My points have been reset now that the month of November is here, does this mean that i will not be able to convert them into deals?

I am totally new to this TESCO forum.
I don’t know how the system works I never have use TESCO for home delivery and frankly I do not understand the most of the postings in this forum.
My other half is working for TESCO and insofar we were always getting by her 10% discount on the checkout desk.
From what I gather, there are many more profitable deals out there, on top of her 10% discount.

Is there a step by step TESCO guide for dummies like us?

    Hi Droopyk and Nightwatchman,

You're not doing anything wrong, you're just a typical Tesco shopper...the average shopper that spends about £50 per week in store at Tesco will probably end up with about the same number of points each month as you do.
It doesn't have to mean that you will need to spend more than you do at present, however, if you change the way that you shop then you'll be able to accumulate points faster and you'll be pleased to know that it's not too difficult!

1)Tesco run promotions, giving away extra points (usually between 250 and 1500 per order) aimed at new customers and existing customers that they think have started shopping elsewhere. Usually these are for the online grocery service and the wine warehouse, but sometimes are for other depts like Tesco direct etc.
They provide promotional codes which the shopper has to enter at the online checkout in order to receive the bonus. There's a thread on MSE where shoppers share the codes that they've received.

2)Get yourself a Tesco cedit card, every time you spend on it you'll receive points. Make sure that you pay it of in full each month so that you don't have to pay any interest mind!

3)Look out for when Tesco run bonus point promotions linked to products. (For example at the moment if you buy two Johnsons baby items, you'll get 100 extra points. The cheapest baby item is 76p so two will cost you £1.52... BUT 100 points, if you spend them wisely against clubcard deals will be worth £4.00.(Loads of the people on here, including me have bought dozens of tubs of baby talc even though it will never get used earning thousands of extra points. Is that false economy? That's up to you to decide but I dont think so))

4)Sign up for an extra virtual clubcard account/s (you'll need to use a different email address for each). Once you've done that then join the healthy living club, food club, wine club, baby club and anything else that they're running. Do this for each account. Every quarter you'll get a newsletter and in it will be a handful of extra point coupons, sometimes you'll have to buy a product and sometimes you wont.
Also promotional codes online can only be used once per account, so use your different accounts to get the best promos more than once.

The golden rule to clubcard points though is never ever ever spend the clubcard vouchers that you've earned in store. Use them against deals and they will be worth four times as much.

So that's it. Shop online. Lots of accounts. All the clubs. And keep up to date with these threads!
Hope that's some use to you and good luck!

I emailed Tesco's recently with the same question. This was their response:

Haven't yet done it yet! Hope it helps.
