Quality Street tins 1.16kg are now on sale at £9.99 each or TWO FOR £9

For the benefit of some of the new readers of this thread, I'd like to point out that the minimum spend that applies to bonus point codes (or money off codes) is the minimum amount that you need to get your basket to add up to BEFORE any multisave discount is taken off.

This means that BOGOFs and offers such as that one above, can drastically reduce the amount that you need to pay in order to receive your extra points.

    For example:
if you put 6 tins of quality street in your basket and check out then your basket total will show 6x£9.99 = £59.94 (and this then this will allow you to use code xx-zk6m for example giving 1000 extra points if you spend £50)
You won't see any multisave discount until you receive your delivery and get the paper receipt and on that you would see
    Promotional discount Quality Street -£32.94
    Final Price £27.00
    Points this visit 1027
(by the way, that's worth over £40 on clubcard deals!)

Sorry if this post is a bit long winded and there'll be a delivery charge to pay on top of that of course. I just wanted to demonstrate the bogof loophole for anybody that didn't already know how it works.

Thanks Puddings, I always thought your total had to be say £50 AFTER all deductions/offers had been taken off, so i've been adding things to my basket just to be on the safe side ! Now I know that I don't have to i'll be online tonight doing another order ! need the points. Thanks again.

There have been occassions where i have not had money taken off my online grocery shop, despite code being accepted at checkout. I had assummed that this was because my shopping total after deductions was under min amount. So, do you think i should contact customer services and asked for the money back then?

  • We've just come back from a five day break in Litteau Normandy. All the accommodation and ferry was paid for in clubcard vouchers. £90 worth. Never used static caravans before, but the accommodation was great and big although we had the biggest one as it was the only one available.

Thanks to this site I thought about using the points rather than saving them for shopping.

  • I seem to have used all the points codes and can't get anymore to work. Will new ones come out?

You can pay for your shopping online with a clubcard plus, as to "will i get 2000 points when useing a 1000 point code". Wouldn't that be great but unfortunatly no.
