Car Service Plan

Hi,
I have a car service plan with Vaxhuall (I have a Corsa) where I pay a little every month towards my service and MOT for the year rather than pay for it in one big chunk at the time of the service. This also made the service and MOT cheaper overall. I needed to use the Vauxhall dealership for my service anyway as I had a lifetime warranty on my car which needed to be reactivated every year through the dealership. I've had this plan for several years and have used it to pay for my servicing and MOT. I have continued to pay the monthly payments and currently have £175 in the plan to pay for my upcoming service and MOT (in July). However, I am now selling my car and am looking to get my money back. Vauxhall are telling me that they can't give me my money back but they can give me a credit voucher which can be used for any servicing, parts etc in the future. However, I am buying an Audi and have no use for this voucher as I plan to use Audi to get my car serviced. Am I entitled to my money back for a service I didn't use? What are my rights?
Thanks for your help!

Can you transfer the credit to a new owner and use it as a selling incentive for a potential buyer?0

Thanks for your reply but I'm part exchanging the car. I'm not sure the dealer would be interested in it. But Vauxhall did say it could be transferred to someone else.0

In the future it would be best to save yourself in a bank account for car servicing rather than taking a plan out.0
