Brazen thieves.
Bike parked up in front garden, has lived there for ever, came home for lunch from work (in car) bike there, came home after work, bike gone.
Nicked from garden of terraced house overlooked by dozens of houses in broad daylight. How have some people got the bottle to do that? must have been loaded into a van or something & it weighs quarter of a ton!

Yeah, I'm thinking along the same lines, they could have done it before I repaired a puncture & filled it with petrol ready for the start of the good weather.0

Sadly, all they needed to do was turn up in a van with 'Dave's Motorcycle Repairs' on the side, and no-one would have batted an eyelid. Two big blokes, lift it in, gone. The only defence is a very big chain through both wheels and frame, attached to a ground anchor cemented in, and that will only delay them.
Really sorry to hear about the bike.If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -

Oh, initially I was thinking the pedal variety.
Get it reported, if it's less than 500cc the local youths are probably learning their trade on it.0 -
Thing is, not what I would call an attractive bike to nick, apart from its value as weight of scrap ( and 5 gal. of petrol!).
21 year old ZZR1100, not a nice shiny new bike.
Not attached to bike like some bikers are, so as long as insurance play ball, will be reasonably happy. Still had it's original silencers as well, which is rare for a ZZR1100.0 -
S mc H, it was reported within 10 mins of me getting home.
Neighbour has just told me it wasn't there at 1pm when they got home, 'cause she was wondering how I'd gone to work in car & on bike!
Now wondering if somebody has noticed that I am at home for 30 mins every day at the same time for it to have gone within 30 mins of me going back to work.:(0 -

Twenty three years ago it was the first thing I reached 160 mph on so I can see the attraction.0 -
