Was it automatic or did the SA have to overwrite something?I tried twice on different days with several clearance items for 50p and it didn't work... I ended up buyng a tan thingy for £1.65 (I don't even know what it is for!!) in a different store to get the GWP.

Has anyone made a list yet as to what to use the £5 skincare vouchers on - I've checked the first post and made a note of the Time Delay one but is there anything else aprt from the eye cream?
Can you use the voucher as part payment for reduced items?
Mary
The £5 skincare voucher also works with the Time Delay Handcream which is £5 and really lovely0 -

Very glad you only have to spend £5 for a voucher this time instead of the £10 last time!0 -
i found out yesterday from a lovely sa at cribbs that the reason some of us are getting the over 60's discount is because when we joined up with the acm voucher the sa needs to scan a laminate card at the checkout. on one side it's HC under 60's and on the other its HC over 60's. so it's luck of the draw but not our fault if we get an extra 10% off because sa scans wrong side of card!:j :j0

Thanks to all of you who post on this thread. I find it a lot more complex than Tesco couponing but I am getting there - was delighted to get 2 free cameras yesterday - I would have only picked up one if I had not read this thread.
Hoping to get my first ever GWP - will I be able to use my £5 off ruby/No7 and still claim this please? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hi Everyone,
Had a fab Bootsing day to day :j I bought a Babyliss curling tong set with red sticker £20 down to £10..........took it home & it didn't work so took it back without a receipt & was told that they could only replace to the value of £20 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Sooooooo Happy, these things never happen to me! Went back & got another curling tong set & a Nicky Clarke Hairdryer set marked down form £29.99 to £10...........then she gave me another £5 voucher Wohoooo!!!!!
Now what shall I do with the Dryer?????? Take it back & get a refund, Ebay it or use it???
Also found a Philishave mens electric razer marked from £69.99 to £30 red sticker which went through as £15........Used 500 xtra points for an electric item + 75 extra points for spending over £10
All in all a good day :T :T :T0 -
Slightly off topic, but I just thought I'd let all of you in the London area know that I have just posted a thread on the Freebies board for a free tote from Harrods. Nice to carry all your Boots goodies home. :rotfl:0
