Well I did a dash from W1 to Croydon to get a reserved 2GB Black Ipod. I arrived at the store panting and sweating only to be told that it didn't exist and they only had the 2GB Silver Ipods.

To say I was fuming would be a understatement :mad: so I'll be calling CS tomorrow as I had to buy a train ticket to get me there.

Looks like I'll be making a trip to Brentcross after all

Hi all,

Popped into 4 Boots - didn't get anything exciting. Thought what was left in the clearance section was pretty rubbish.

Returned an item £12.99

Got:

1 x JCB long sleeve top (18-24 mths)
1 x JCB t-shirt(18-24 mths)
1 x JCB trousers (18-24 mths)

Total for the above £11.90 with the 50% and 20% off. DH was paying for the above though. :-)

2 x 4pk Andrex Aloe Vera toilet rolls (BOGOF) £2.25

Paid £1.66 cash and got 56 points back

Used points (£3.20) on a pair of childrens trousers (originally £8 again with 50% and 20% off)

hmm...mixed bag really...quite a few toys upstairs. downstairs there was perfume shower gels for about 5-10 pounds, and smaller bits and pieces like FCUK body lotions, tanning goods etc. double check the expiry on the goods tho...i bought a ROC product which expired in April and picked up something else and the box was empty...the joys of sale shoppin! lol

hopefully the ACMs will be working there by now! happy shopping!!


today...i used the ACM voucher 250points for trevor sorbie shampoo or conditioner on clearance goods. My local boots had lots of conditioner down to £1.50 so made a £1 per bottle (bought two!)...SA had to manually add the points... not a bad shop today...every little helps!

had a good boots day @ the cribbs branch. Loads of Urban decay make up palettes reduced to £3.25. Then noticed that there was 500 points when you bought 2 urban dcay products, and it went through on the clearance items. Theres loads of mascaras reduced to £2 each, so guess this would work aswell. Bought loads in separate lots to get the 500 points and the £5 skin care voucher.
Also 8 duracell batteries 85 p, and winnie pooh photo album £1.25. Also got a white guest book for my wedding 50 p!!!!

The £5 parenting voucher DOES NOT work with the straightning deal - was hoping to only pay £4.99 for one, with 300 points back, no joy, SA tried, it didn't work. So bought myself some natural collection stuff and a fee bag (the wild strawberry lipgloss is LOVELY!!!)

Right...where to start.....

Quick shop last night and picked up clearance stuff to the exact value of £5 for a voucher - also snuck in a Botanics voucher. 200pt Toni & Guy voucher didn't work with minis and clearance items didn't work for Sanctuary freebie - sob...cos I REALLY want that one! Oh and I stupidly bought a box of No7 liplicious lip glosses with my points....forgetting the £1 voucher and chance for another £5 voucher...DOH!

There are LOADS of the limited edition No7 retro thingies some of you were talking about - I'd be happy to get them for you if you can't get any as I'm not interested in them.

Also saw loads of Lancaster stuff on clearance but no sign of this 500pt offer. Not sure whether to try it or not.

Ref the perennial "why don't I get any offers on ACM" problem. I spoke to a manager at CS about my Mum's card and she said you can ring them and ask them to activate not only mailings, but the offers on your cards!!! She said that this doesn't guarantee you get them, but makes the likelihood of getting them much higher. Also, it registers usage of the card so the more you spend and the more you even look at the machine helps.

Got free No 7 gift with a refine and rewind and 3 x 50p sun lotions total £18.25, used 250 points coupon in free gift bag.

Also got £3 off time delay in smoking booklet in Scotland others have smoking boxes, and £5 off with voucher got from spending over £5, so got a £8.50 time delay for 50p.
