Need a bit of skincare advice and thought I would come to you girls.

I have combination skin, which suffers from the occasional but persistent breakout. I need some moisturiser (day and night) I was using the sanctuary stuff but I have found that quite oily. I don't really worry about anti ageing too much as I am only 27. (ok so not worrying is a lie, but I really shouldn't be thinking about wrinkles)

Already got a couple of the skincare vouchers, has anyone got any recommendations from the ranges which are included?

Other alternative is clinque etc, as I do have a parenting voucher for 750 points on 2 purchases. I have tried the dramatically different moisturiser before but I found this quite heavy.

    Any suggestions / Bargains?

Hi waddy, I like the olay 7x anti ageing with blemish care.

Never seen Chanel GWP, but I do have vague memories of seeing it on the instore reductions... Usually it's the more obscure ones, can't remember seeing Chance or No 5 for example.

The old style packaging Trevor Sorbie Conditioner in Blue for everyday care goes through for £1.50 so together with the 250 pts voucher from the ACM means Boots pay you a £1 to take it away!! Got 2 and left others. Also the No7 Charm bracelet scans for nothing but eagle eyed SA wouldn't let me have it so will have to go back and choose a better SA... LOL
thanks for confirming this.the blue shampoo is in my store too so ill get back down their later to do the same.

  • There is a 500 point voucher for buying olay in the parenting booklet, should work with the new voucher you get for spending £5 - £5 off and 500 points on OLAY.
  • There are new codes in the ACM today for spend of £60 and £55 on .com, not sure where to post them?
  • Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've been lurking for a few weeks and picked up some great bargains/extra points so a big thank you. Thought I'd share some of the things I've found this week:

    1) If anyone has got the 200pts coupon for Huggies Little Swimmers from the parenting club pack (got mine in the 6-9 month pack) then you can use this with the trial packs which are usually 78p but currently 62p due to 20% offer. The first time I tried it the SA wouldn't put it through as she said I had to buy the big pack but it doesn't specify that on the coupon. The next time I tried the assistant manually added the points and I've used 2 more coupons since with no problems.

    2) I got a £1 off Botanics bathing coupon in the 9-18 months pack. I combined this with the 100pts coupon from the magazine and bought 2 Exfoliating bars at the weekend in the Oxford St store. They are currently on BOGSHP so should have been £3 however, one went through at £1 full price and the other at £1 due to half price offer. I then got the £1 off so got the 2 bars for £1 and the 100pts so they were effectively free.

    3) There is also a coupon for 200pts when you buy Pantene Time Renewel. Its currently half price at £1.49. I unfortunately used my coupon last week when it was still full price but hope this is useful for someone.

    4) For those near the Kew Retail Park branch all the sale items with clearance stickers are now being put through at half price too. I managed to get a Sony Memory stick and used the 500 point coupon. There were loads of memory cards there yesterday.

Now for a question. Has anyone tried to use the 500pts Olay Total Effects coupon with the £5 skincare voucher? What the cheapest Olay TE skincare product?

  • Good morning

Does anyone know of a store that sells them around the W1 area? I've been to the Oxford Street (bond street end store) but they only had bright pink. I called CS and they said they are discontinuing them instore so I need to be quick as I am using my points to buy it.

    Thank you in advance
