    any help appreciated xxx
I went in to the Eastbourne store today........full of hope....and i bet it was even poo'er than meadowhall!!!...not that i've been there lol There was NOTHING!!! & not even any perfumes on sale, like in some stores!!! I know Eastbourne is locally referred to as GOD'S WAITING ROOM...but i'm only young, and i wanna look beautiful and smell gorgeous, am i gonna have to move to London/Manchester??...please advise. pretty please!!
  • hey all, i finally managed to convince my hubby to let me go to manchester on tuesday so i could go to boots. what a bloomin dissapointment!

my mum insisted on coming with me incase i collapsed or something ( you know what parents are like - i don't think she'll ever treat me like an adult). The sale was absolutely rubbish - i probably missed out on so much in that 2 weeks, it's devestating. They also had very little time delay and no olay handcream. i managed to lose 2 skincare vouchers while i was in there and bought a leappad counting toy without realising it was 342 (i guess i wasn't really with it) - so all in all not a great boots shop. i spent some of my points so i am now down to £181 left on it. my baby had a better day than me - she got lots of new clothes (£160 worth - hubby not happy when i got home :D ) and a toy, i bought myself a coat and that was it.

    UNWANTED VOUCHERS

i have all these acm vouchers that i don't want so if anybody wants any of them please pm me with your postal address and which ones you want and i will send them on to you

    * free pack replacement blades when you buy bic solei click razor - AVAILABLE
*150 points on fcuk pure & polished range - GONE
*free boots hair colour - GONE
*save £7 on no7 moisturizer when you buy p&p serum - GONE
    * free botanics miniature when you buy any full size bathing botanics product - AVAILABLE
    * 200 points on new look toni & guy full size products - GONE
*75 points on colgate sensitive freshstripe - AVAILABLE

these all expire on 11/09 (next tuesday).

i also have 2x 500 points on memory cards and a free med body butter when you buy another mediteranean product parenting voucher that i cant find. if anybody wants these let me know and i will try and find them today. these ones expire towards end of sept but im not sure when.

    hope these can help someone.

  • Picked up some goodies (including stuff for hampers) in Boots on Cambridge retail park:

Two 10x8 black glass picture frames - £7.00 each, buy 1 get 1 free :) (Think £14 each originally...I'm keeping these!)
Two 6x4 black glass picture frames - £3.00 each, buy 1 get 1 free :) (Think £6 each originally - both for m-i-l and f-i-l's christmas baskets)
No7 limited edition 'Gorgeous' lip gloss - £3.00 (£8 originally - this is to go in sis-in-law's christmas basket)
No7 matte lip tint x2 - £2.50 each (think they were about £8 originally - one for me, one for m-i-l's christmas basket)
Two embroidered photo albums - £14 each, buy 1 get 1 free - not in the sale, but absolutely lovely, and I was on the look out for some new albums to put all my photos from the last year in!
No17 Raspberry Cooler lip gloss - reduced to £1.90 from £3.75 (mine!)
N07 Molten nail polish (a lovely pale glittery gold) - reduced to £2.50 from £6.00
Magnetic sudoku game - reduced from £6 to £2 - for f-i-l's christmas basket
Not so exciting - Head and Shoulders - 2 400ml bottles for £5 instead of £3.something!
    3 1.5ml Diesel samples - free!

Three AC machines in store - two marked out of action, one not. The unmarked one was jammed so I couldn't print any vouchers (including one for spend £20 get 150 points, and one for 100 extra points on any photo frame or album) Asked several members of staff for assistance, all of whom said "oh the machine should have been marked out of order, you can't have the points, but we will be getting new machines on 3rd October..." Convenient that, not giving customers the extra points means less of a spend out for Boots...

    Peh.

    Some good bargains though! :)

I don't suppose anybody has a spare £10 off when you buy P&P and 2 moisturisers from the ACM do they? I checked the machine yesterday but didnt get offered it :( I'd happily pay for the postage / post a different voucher in return?

    Thanks, Pinkie x
