Hi, thought i'd pop in to my local Boots today to check out the sale items after reading about the wonderful perfume bargains on here, but it was rubbish...nothing at all really.
Tried to use an Olay 500 points voucher against a face wash but it wouldn't scan
So, i thought i'd just spend my £5 voucher on some Time Delay...shelves were rather empty but i got an eye thingy effectively for 50p. Feeling a bit disappointed at the lack of bargains i miraculously cheered up when i found a £5 voucher(ahem...on the floor) picked it up as calmly as i could and went off to get radiance balm, so not so bad after all.0 -

I was speaking to Perfume counter girl yesterday at my local branch and she was saying that they are trying to clear the shelves of certain brands to make way for the newer ones like Kylie's.
BUT our branch is not allowed to reduce the price of any of them
I questioned this, saying other Boots stores were selling reduced perfumes but she couldnt give me an answer
I get the feeling stores are given individual choices in reductions
Bah HumbugSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
Does anyone know if there are any good bargains in Chester or Birkenhead?0

Does anyone need an ACM voucher for the Save £7 on facial moisturiser when you buy P&P? (expires 11th) or ACM 500 points on any memory cards or 1000 ponts on any Fuji or Samsug camaras? (expire 25th)0

At Boots Bristol Broadmead, you can buy an ipod instore. Last Sunday I managed to get Olympus mju 760 by my points there. Online price is £179.99. But instor price was £149.99 (last sunday). Got the blue one. Unfortunately, it was the last one on the display. So asked for the discount from the manager, as I thought I should not pay full price for the display item. I even asked to come back and buy when this colour available. They rang other boots in bristol to check for me. Found out none had this colour. So got it with 10% discount and paid by points for £135. Happy me.
Just checked the price online and found that Jessops is charging £5 more of this colour from the normal silver one.0
