Just wondering, has anyone had any trouble paying with Euros in any Boots stores? I've paid in Euros loads of times and I've had customers pay with them but the store I was in today told me Boots don't accept them. They were still adament about this despite me telling them I work for Boots and know they accept them? Does anyone know if they've stopped accepting them or do I need to phone customer services?
Thanks0 -
I bought a cajun chicken wrap from Boots for lunch today. I got more than I paid for though because when I bit into it there was a butterfly from the back of an earing wrapped in a piece of orange plastic stuff. Nasty! Can I do anything about this?
I would certainly complain to trading standards they take this very seriouslytravelover0 -
Got a voucher from acm for a botanics mini bathing with any full size bathing. The cheapest is the bar £2 so got mini shower gel £2 free and had a voucher from july/aug mag for 100 pts on any botanics so cost me less than a pound with over 60 10%travelover0

Yes i would also certainly complain, strange it was wrapped in orange plastic, if it was just the butterfly, could say it had fallen in accidentally. Could be sabotage (or i've been watchng to many movies) - but did see on the news the other day that animal rights people claimed to have contaminated Savlon cream !0

Been away for a week so just catching up.
Before we went we did the big Boots in Chester and got loads of reduced stuff which I paid for with points. Oddly when I've seen the same items in other Boots in York they werent as cheap.
I have read the first post, thanks for the list of items that I can use my £5 voucher with. I did find an Olay on the reduced section but the girl said I couldnt use a £5 coupon with it!
Please can anyone tell me wether the coupons that come in the green vitamin bags have any glitches? I have a few of these but the coupons dont look very useful.
Both the advantage card machines at Stafford were out of order today, one has been out of action for months. A letter of complaint is long over due.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
