Electrical inspection prior to purchase of property

Can anyone advise what the going rate is in the South for an electrical inspection? This will include checking each socket (including some in the garage).
It is a 4-bed property, and I've been quoted £300 + VAT. Is this reasonable?

I’d say high it depends on the amount of circuits (fuses) how much clutter is in the home ease of getting to fuse board etc and very unlikely they’d check every socket either the Electrical Installation Condition Report (previously: Periodic Inspection Report, which is most likely what you have been offered I’d say high there are many that’ll do it for £99 because most of the time if you look hard enough there are extras which is what many of the cheaper will be after ? south of England £175 + is about average power could be off for anything from a few hours to day0
