UKPC ticket

Hi
Got a ticket on windscreen for 'not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space'.
This was in a huge retail car park at Middlebrook, Horwich, Lancashire.
I accept I did Park over lines, have a camper Van. But I took no photos or look for signs. Too angry, and drove off.
Am I still in a position to protest this ticket?
Any help most appreciated. Thanks

If anyone pays a UKPC ticket they would be mad - sadly there are lots who do!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
