Thank you all for your help and comments.
I had the £65 call out charge waived yesterday.
I emailed the ceo, as suggested, and got a phone call mid morning.
I am ashamed to say that I cried during the conversation.
This whole episode has taken so much of my time and effort... I am so angry and frustrated and fed up with being placated.
The call centre is useless. Although the phone operators are sweet and appear to listen they have no power. I was simply passed from one person to another to another and eventually told that my complaint would be passed onto the Customer Relations Team which I guess is part of the overseas call centre. (email reply in my last post!)
Yesterday I was promised a free visit from a Talktalk engineer to check the openreach box and reinstate the extension sockets that were cut on the last visit.
All I wanted was to get what I was paying for and get the fibre speed increased from 3+mbps to the 32mbps that I had previously achieved.
The request for the improved speed was first made in mid January of this year.........
