I'm having problems copying anything onto disc, when I try and copy music it goes through all the right motions and says the disc has been completed but when you load the disk back up, there's nothing on it!
I have copied music on this laptop before and it's been ok but suddenly it doesn't want to know. Could a setting somewhere have been changed? or is it my laptop that's giving up?
Please help..............

what cd burning sofware are you using?0

There are times when you change a setting without noticing, and it makes discs unusable in a burner. if you check it in a standard PC cd player it plays fine"INSIDE EVERY OLDIE IS A YOUNGSTER, WONDERING,"WHERE THE F*** DID LIFE GO?""0

I am using Windows media player. Thanks for your time x0

When I put the 'finished' disc into a cd player it says "no disc"

What kind of file are you trying to copy, if its mp3 or wma it might not play in a normal cd player and would just come up as no disc but if your just copying it as an audio file then it should be ok.
Have you tried playing it in windows media player to see if its ok0 -
All the music seems to work ok on wmp 11 but just won't copy to disc.
It all copies ok onto my mp3. Thanks0 -
sorry to be blond but ????????????????0

Under the Burn option in WMP11, you should have 'Audio' selected.
This will make the CD compatible with your stand-alone CD player.
The downside is that you will only be able to fit a small amount of tracks on to a CD. Up to 80 minutes of music.0
