10W B22 LED Light Bulb Bayonet Cap Warm White VERY BRIGHT 10W = 100W

These are the bulbs I use, but I do like a bright light and these have satisfied my needs for about a year now. I was so impressed with the first bulb, I bought several more to replace all the halogen B22 bulbs which always seemed to take a while before reaching a useful brightness.

Another company advertising 3000k as 'warm white'. Can't even spell lumens properly.

Well, to be fair, maybe lemuns are brighter than lumens! There's certainly no way 805 lumens equates to 100w as they claim, more like 60w I should have thought.

Maybe it's a 24 hour motoring racing event in North France?

Yep, around 800 lumens is about 60w equivalent. A lot of companies will say 800 lumens is a higher incandescent wattage equivalent if their colour temperature is higher, such as 3000k.

Both these LED Spot are marketed as 'warm white' - The top one is 3000k and the bottom is 2700k.

Bit of a difference i'm sure you'll agree

Another problem with that light, specific to SusieSue's complaints, is that it won't be lighting very well up above, because the housing for the electronics is quite big.
