What is the best way of finding threads where people have already received court papers in order to read the advice on defending the claim?

And more specifically, the Search This Forum box in the 2nd green banner when viewing the forum thread list.

Read all of the post #5 of the NEWBIES sticky thread until you understand it.

Then if you have to defend the claim because you have received a N1CPC Claim Form from the County Court Business Centre you need to go to the Parking Prankster website - http://www.parking-prankster.com and get both his Guides, the free to download and the paid for version.

    These are vital.

Again they need to be read until you understand it all.

Get a copy of the Court Practice Directions.

Follow all the guidance as close to the T as possible. Don't be disheartened, it is a relatively straight forward process.

I am awaiting the outcome of the Beavis Court of Appeal Case before proceeding, having had my Registered Keepers' case stayed twice until its outcome.

    Two important other documents are:

case number 3JD06533 in the Bristol County Court before Deputy District Judge (DDJ) Melville-Shreeve between ParkingEye Ltd and Mrs Natasha Collins-Danielle on 24 January 2014. Read carefully as there are lots of useful points to fight with even if Beavis does not succeed.

The written submissions on behalf of the Consumers' Association submitted to the Beavis Court of Appeal.

Both available on the PP site.
That is enough to start with.

Very good advice JR. You'd be a great addition to the regulars' team here: you have very much got your head around all this stuff.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
