                    Hi All,
On returning to my vehicle today, I was presented with a parking charge ticket from UK Parking Control Ltd stuck firmly on the windscreen.
The ticket says they want £60 if paid within 14 days or £100 thereafter.
I have read the sticky on this forum on how to deal with this matter, so I believe my next step is to wait for the NTK, before making some appeals to the appropriate parties.
However, I know this area was a permit only area, and I am not a resident in the area and my car did not have a permit. I've noticed most of the winning appeals in the sticky/resources were for shop car parks, not for private land/permit areas.
The £60/£100 fine is extortionate and I would rather not pay for this scam, especially as my car was only there for 6 minutes.
Do I still have a chance to win this appeal, even though it was a permit only area?
Thank you for your help.
P.S I've had a look at the photos they have, and because the front of my car was parked close against the wall, they could not take a picture of my front numberplate in frame with the ticket/windscreen. They took a picture of the back of my car with the rear numberplate, but hey, that could be anyones car, right??

ignore what happened and just follow that NEWBIES sticky thread regardless
there are plenty of non-shop threads on here , some similar to yours0

As per above, wait for the NtK and follow the normal process. "What happened on the day" has no relevance to getting these things killed off.
And don't park there again. It's people doing what you did that makes landowners think PPCs are worthwhile.0

It's not a fine and everyone here beats UKPC at POPLA. Follow the newbies thread you appear to have missed so far, near the top of the forum. No need for threads about UKPC, nothing differs.£60/£100 fine is extortionate and I would rather not pay for this scam, especially as my car was only there for 6 minutes.
Do I still have a chance to win this appeal, even though it was a permit only area?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
