Friend put claim in for PIP a few weeks ago and was sent for assessment this week with ATOS.
This is the first time I've sat in on one for PIP and it was quite pleasant unlike the DLA one I sat in on a few years ago which lasted 3 hours and the Dr was a cow.
The PIP one was just under an hour and the lady doing it was nice; she listened and typed lots of stuff down and read it all back after each section.
The questions she asked were a basic version of what was on the PIP forms.
The phyical exam only lasted a few minutes and was quite basic too.
I still think ATOS are a shower of !!!!!! though lol.

Hi,
Unfortunately from my experience the fact that the 'examiner' may seem nice has no reflection on what they type on the system.
I had one who clearly did not seem to listen to my answers and when it came to the point that I saw what had been typed it was completely different.
I had to go to tribunal to get it overturned.
I know they are not all the same but don't read too much into the outcome purely based on the way it may have seemed to go well.
Sorry but this is my experience.
