    Exactly that. A two storey square extension :)

    There is absolutely no way we would recoup our extension costs if we were to sell our house (cheshire and not too far from Altrincham) but that was partly because we were going for matching the existing as closely as possible (early victorian brick and sandstone round windows/ along tops of walls round roof) and partly as we do not intend to move on any time soon- this is hopefully our forever home.

    We were definitely in 6 figures but were trying not to cut corners and to do it in keeping as the house is quite prominent- lots of passers by comment on how well we've done it.
