What is the latest you have stayed up till playing video games?

i have stayed up till 1am playing Championship Manager 2007 recently.

In my days 3-4, sometimes 5AM. However that was Decades ago, work commitments and age helped reduce my intake.

I've done quite a few allnighters making videogames. There'd often be mad Quake sessions at 4am in the office back in the late 90s.

Glad the industry has matured slightly as I haven't done an allnighter for several years now.

I recently stopped up till 3am playing GTA V though (finishing the story mode)

I played a weekend and night of Mass effect 1 through to 3 and felt like a loser for it. What had I achieved? What a waste of time and effect that would have been better served at learning piano or home improvement tasks.

In my younger days I used to pull all nighters and going to bed at 7am for a few hours.

Mainly due to the addictive qualities, and also because many of the online game lobbies would fill up more due to the US / UK time zone difference.

Now I am lucky to stay up to midnight before being called to bed!

I'm regularly up till 1am playing games online with my mates, sometimes later on the weekends!

around 3.30am i think. very rare and not done that for a very long time.

Pulled an all-nighter with a mate once completing the Halo 3 campaign in coop from start to finish in one sitting. Probably wouldn't have taken as long if I wasn't pretty dire with a controller in shooters. :rotfl:

Fun but decided not to do something like that again. I was knackered for a few days afterwards.

Something like 6:30 AM waiting for the servers on Ultima Online to come up when one of the new expansions launched that allowed housing.

Then spending about 90 minutes struggling to do anything only to have the servers go down again, as apparently EA forgot that the opportunity to find/choose new housing slots was going to be a big thing....(one of several UO/EA situations like that, I can't remember if that was also the one where EA decided to release the update on the EU servers BEFORE they'd made the upgrade available to buy in the EU, so lots of EU players had to pay out for express shipping for the states and a £19 expansion ended up costing use closer to £40).

All weekend, before the days of on-line playing(30years a go)

Finish work Friday, still playing early Mon Morning, grabbing the odd bite to eat and drink and hrs nap.

More recently remember, long sessions of Toca, Total war, Metal, Wolf and Lara but slept more as used to have a few beers.
