Should I cash in Children's NS&I bonds and move to an Is?

My child has been given several NS &I childrens bonds over the years. Should I cash them in for her and put into a junior isa? Need to do it quickly obviously. I lose some interest on them but it works out as pence? I don't know if I could do it in time for this years allowance?
