    Then it's fed from the 'B' outlet if it's a Three Port Valve - you should be able to see a pipe tee'd off between the TPV and the coil inlet connection on the cylinder?

    The tee may well also be taken off before the TPV - there are so many ways of doing it it's impossible to give you an exact description! There is often a gate valve on the tee'd off piework to balance the flow, but don't go turning anything unless you're sure it's the correct pipework or you could be adjusting the bypass if the system has one :)

    We dont know what sort of system the OP has. He may well have a primatic cylinder. He might have a gravity hw system and the radiator might be gravity fed..the potential to get wet here is greater for the uninitiated !
