Blocked ebay user.

Hi,
I blocked a business ebayer from buying off me after a message along the lines of " I buy the vintage jumper, but if it doesnt fit, or I don't like it, then I send it back" expecting me to pay both postages.
Obviously a non starter. 10 minutes later its sold to someone from the same town who deals in the same stuff as this business seller. I cancel, refund and message with my reasoning of connected accounts.
Any comeback on my sellers rating etc?
I'm not a business seller.

They are free to leave Feedback...
You would have to prove to ebay that your concerns were reasonable to get any feedback removed. As they have not been threatening, not sure ebay will buy it...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
You can report it ebay for circumventing a buyer block. They will remove any bad feedback (they have for me).0

I'm not sure on feedback for a cancel, just checked and I can't leave any for them.
Would hope that as they are on ebay playing games, then they assume others are the same as them and not start down that road.0 -

If this was a cancelled sale you should be able to leave them feedback, positive only of course, I've no idea why you can't. They should also be able to leave feedback for you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. eBay will no longer remove feedback [no longer a feedback policy], only defects can be removed with a fight0

We'll see if that goes both ways.
How did you cancel the sale?
I have 2 cancelled transactions in my sold listings, both were cancelled as buyer asked me to cancel as they bought in error, both allow me and the buyer to leave feedback.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I cancelled as the seller through the normal channel.
Must be a recent thing, I remember ages ago a seller cancelling me after he'd found a flaw when packaging and I left him good feedback as he'd offered me a knock down price then cancelled when I didn't fancy it.0 -

A seller can't just cancel a sale without choosing a reason, some reasons allow the buyer to decline the cancellation, some will give the seller a defect .
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/cancel-transaction-process.html
If you cancel a transaction, the buyer may be disappointed or feel that you didn't honour your side of the bargain. Keep in mind that:
If you cancel a transaction, it may be considered a defect and count against your seller performance. Learn more about seller performance standards.
If you cancel a transaction, the buyer can still leave you negative or neutral Feedback about the transaction.
When you list an item, you enter into a legally binding contract to complete the transaction if the item is sold. If you cancel the transaction, there could be other negative ramifications. See the eBay User Agreement.
Once the cancellation is complete, you can't ask us to step in and help with the transaction, and you can't reopen the cancellation request.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Isnt there now a reason , something to do with buyers address not being correct, whereby a seller can cancel without buyer involvment?
I`m sure ive seen it on here somewhere.0
