Hello -.
Any advice here welcome.
I have a joint IS claim with my partner - he's 62 I'm 47.
We get housing ben, and I get DLA mob (HR) and care (LR).
Partner has also applied for DLA (mob).
Would he be better off claiming pension in his own right, or staying on my IS claim??
I asked DWP and they said nothing much in it.
Many thanks
MM

As a couple, you can't just "not be part of" one or the others IS claim. It may be better for him to claim Pension Credit for the both of you though.
IS and Pension Credit are both claimed on the basis of the household, not as an individual.0
