Medium oak metal paint for garage door

Hi
We are planning to re-paint our garage door(currently blue colour) to medium oak colour.
No rust or corrosion noted. Some cement stuck to surface. Not much flaky/loose paint seen.

How to go about preparing the surface?Any need for primer and/or undercoat? How many coats do I need?Roller or Brush?
And more importantly where can I get "Medium Oak Metal paint for exterior use" Any particular brands/retailers?

Many Thanks

    Medium oak metal paint?

    How can it exist?

    Brown paint.

As far as I am aware there is no such thing as Medium Oak metal paint ?

You could go down the route of using a yellow primer and then over paint that with something like Sadolins Stain.

    Hi
    Sorry
I meant paint to be used over garage door (which is metal)
and would wish it be of "Oak colour"

One of our neighbours painted their door with a tan coloured gloss, similar shade to medium oak, it doesn't look that good tbh.
We have light oak upvc windows and painted ours cream to contrast and it looks really nice.
Their used to be a product called brushwood years ago, I used it a few times but you could get the same effect with light brown base coat and a coloured varnish top coat, you would need to drag the top coat.
