Credit card bank transfer?

Hi

I want to transfer a fee from my credit card to a business bank account. I pay off my credit card balance of full each month, so I want to benefit from the cash back and protection.

Is this possible?

Thanks for any replies

You want to transfer a balance from your CC to the bank account of a business that you owe money to, and not pay for the good with your CC in the traditional way.

I only ask as I am unsure by what you have written if that is what you mean?

Yes, I have agreed for a service and now have the invoice with the bank account details. Rather than doing a instant transfer from my current account, I would like to pay from my credit card.

    Thanks for the prompt reply!

I guess you could (depending on the credit card provider) transfer a balance from your CC to the business, however I wouldn't.
You would have a fee of something like 4% to pay, and, as far as I am aware, you wont have the s75 protection you want, and I don't think you would get cashback either.

If you have to use a CC for this purchase, do it in the normal way, as a purchase.

How would the vendor send me an invoice as a purchase? all I have is an document with the amount and bank account details.

You would have to phone them and ask do they accept credit card payments.

If you mean s75 protection and if it's a business transaction, then s75 doesn't apply.
