Discontinued Ikea Cabinet Doors

We had a utility room fitted a year ago with cabinets from Ikea. Due to a couple of reasons we've only just got round to completing the project. Putting on new cabinet door bar handles the other day, I made a mistake. I drilled holes in the wrong place on two doors. I'm not too bothered but my wife wants it fixed. The trouble is, Ikea have discontinued the range! The closest thing to them (white, high gloss Ringhult door) are completely different sizes! I have one door that’s 30cm x 70cm and another that’s 60m x 70cm…

If it was normal wood I’d try filling the holes, sanding and painting/staining but these are white, high gloss acrylic finish. Can anyone think of a solution to covering the holes? I don’t know if I could buy a thin white gloss sheet to stick on top of the door? I've looked on ebay but can’t see any of the old doors on there…

The other option is sawing one of the new style doors but I wouldn't be too confident of doing a good job – plus drilling out holes for the hinges.

You can still get the doors from Ikea, but they are sold as spares/repairs, or something. I'm on a disobedient tablet, but I'll see if I canfind the link....

Just in case anyone else is interested, I just spoke to ikea - they have a few hundred left of each of the the doors I want. The only snag is they're held in a central warehouse in Dortmund. You need to pay £15 delivery but they will send them straight to your door.

So all in all I'm very happy (considering it was my silly fault in the first place!) :T
