Dried cat food, Applaws or Royal Canin?

Picking my new friend up next week, she's one.
She's on Royal Canin (persian).
Do I leave her on this or try to move her across to Applaws?
I think Applaws is a higher quality cat food?
I see Royal Canin do a extirgent protein, I "think" it has less grain in it.
I know to do it gradually if moving.
Does anyone feed Applaws?

Definitely move to Applaws or another high quality food such as Canagan. Applaws is 80% meat and no grain, whereas Royal Canin typically is 30% meat and contains maize, wheat and rice.0

We have Applaws dried and all four of ours seem to get on with it. We get ours from zooplus, and go via topcashback
Are you feeding wet food too ?

Out of those two applaws, but there really is no need to feed dry at all as cats are unable to counteract its dehydrating effect. To put it into perspective, eat crackers for a day and barely drink.0

My cats have a mainly wet diet but do have some royal canin dry for one meal a day. They totally turned their noses up at Applaws dry when I tried it - and they're not particularly fussy cats! So if you are going to change your new cat over, get a sample first before you invest in a bulk buy!0

My cat is 7 months old and he has loved Applaws kitten. He has a mix of wet and dry food.
Not sure what the best wet food is though. When I got him he was on Whiskas wet kitten but I am looking to see what is best to move him to.0
