Egg Saving Account

Hi all,

this is my 1st post in this forum. i have already read many thread in this forum and i am very pleased coz i knew many new things from this site.

btw, my 1st thread is about Egg Saving account. last week i opened an egg saving account. as far i know, for saving account no bank search on credit report. but 2 days later when i checked my experian credit report via online, i found egg searched at experian.

though i got saving account, i am worry about searching. cause, i don't have good credit report, so i am trying to clean my credit history for last 1 year by not applying any bank account or credit card. bcoz, earlier, i applied for too many credit card and mobile contract that made my report down.

So, will any expert tell me, normally egg search credit history for saving accounts ? and will it effect on my credit report. and also, as i got a saving account from them, will it show on my credit report ?

sorry mate, as this is my 1st post, may be i writedown too many...:o

thx

what sort of search was it.. basically there are credit searches and identitiy searches. Identity searches dont count. The savings account wont show as it isn't credit.

But in any event a single credit search won't have an adverse effect on your credit rating.

actually there are two search on the report.

1st (when i applied for the saving account):
Application type: Identification Money Laundering Prevention

    2nd (next day) :
    Application type: Unrecorded Enquiry

Neither of those are credit searches. Lenders won't see them, only you will.

No, again you will be able to see when you've checked your own credit file, but lenders will not.
