I have a paid a deposit for the family to go to Mauritius in August. I emailed the travel agent and asked about the passenger duty for under 12,he told there was no duty on his ticket. I checked the air Mauritius website and there is mention of tax, is tax and passenger duty two separate things? Thanks

Your final balance request should show the correct APD for when you travel.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

APD is the tax that is no longer payable for under 12's - it is one of a number of taxes and charges that go on the fare and probably makes up a very small part of the total taxes and feesI checked the air Mauritius website and there is mention of tax, is tax and passenger duty two separate things? Thanks0
