Copy/Paste in MS Works - stopped working

Never happened before in many years. To save a lot of time in my record keeping (done daily) I use Copy/Paste and amend as necessary. Working OK midnight but suddenly now it won't! In the final item Paste is faint and doesn't work - what I have I done to cause this please and how do I undo it?

are you using the icons? You can also use Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v.

Thanks Mac! In an effort to try your solution, I now find that the 'normal' way has gone back to working as it should! These computers have a mind of their own eh?

I recently used MS Works on my neighbour's laptop & found it diabolical to say the least. OK, I've been spoiled with MS Office (2000) on my PC .
schiff, I'd recommend the excellent free OpenOffice.org (93Mb) to use instead of MS Works. There's also the similar free 'commercial' Sun StarOffice 7 (161Mb) that you may want to try as well. G
