Mine is currently with John Lewis.

They are slightly more expensive than some other providers (though in the grand scheme of the cost of a wedding, the difference is vanishingly small), from reading around recommendations when I was looking to take out the cover though they seemed to have consistently better reviews for least hassle when actually having to submit a claim.

    Hi Steensy,

Congratulations and hope the planning is going well.

We do have an insurance section in our Wedding Guide which I hope will be of help.

Hopefully you will be able to pick up some extra tips from the guide.

    Best wishes

thanks for both the replys, ok so i have had a look at the article and i had been previously considering the ''wedding plan'' insurance to go with, anyone any experience. also on the level of cover needed our venue is about 5k but the budget for the wedding is arround 12k. so when they talk abut prices for cancelation of weding at 7k (silver package) does that only apply to the venue, and then the other items on the list are all potential extras if something went wrong. or is the 7k the total i could claim, and with an estimated 12k budget would i need a higher package to cover this??
