Hi crafters :)

I'm aiming to make the Easter Holidays extra special this year as not only does my little boys birthday (he'll be 8) fall right in the middle of it but it will also be the last few days my kids get to spend with their dad for a long while as he has just been made redundant and has got to go and work in Aberdeen for long periods at a time.

So any ideas for handmade gifts I could make for them, games we could make/play and any crafts we could all make together? I have an 11 year old girl and an (almost) 8 year old boy :)

Obviously with the redundancy money is tighter this year but I still want us to have a great time and create some lasting family memories.

Any ideas gratefully received :)

I have a few small treats in which I will use for our "Bunny Bucks Store". I found some free printable bunny bucks online and the kids find the bucks all over the house and then get to choose what they spend their bunny bucks on. What is on offer varies each time and can be things like books, stationary, small toys etc.

I done it with them last year and they both keep asking if we are doing it this year so think I will have two happy kids come Easter :)

I am also planning to do an Easter Egg Hunt (instead of using plastic eggs though as I don't have any I am planning to make little treat boxes/bags which can be found). I am going to fill these with chocolate, treat vouchers, bunny bucks (mentioned above) and little bits and bobs which I already have.

I've also found some printable games such as Build A Bunny (a dice rolling game similar to beetle), eggs & carrots (like noughts and crosses), an easter egg memory game and a printable easter board game.
